Dry Cleaning, June 28
A few weeks ago Dry Cleaning announced a quick North American tour for March, hitting SXSW and the usual cities like Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and NYC, along with an appearance at Treefort Festival in Boise. In a move we can probably blame on basic geography, Boston got left out. But just as the current jaunt was wrapping up, the English post-punk band did us a solid: They announced a handful of Northeast dates, and included in the batch is a June 28 twirl at the Paradise Rock Club. The news comes as 4AD has re-released the band’s first two EPs, 2018’s Sweet Princess and 2019’s Boundary Road Snacks and Drinks, bundled up on one tidy vinyl record, and it should look and sound nice on your physical media shelf alongside their albums, 2021 debut New Long Leg and 2022’s Stumpwork. Tickets go on sale Friday (March 29) at noon local time.
