Wallows, Model Tour with BENEE, August 26
From the apartment to the music hall, we’re stoked for a heavy dose of Wallows in 2024. The alt-pop trio, who had one of the defining tracks of the late ’10s when they linked with Clairo for “Are You Bored Yet?” five years ago (!), are back with a new album called Model out in May. A quick summer holiday later, they’re playing Boston’s MGM Music Hall at Fenway on August 26, and bringing pop riser BENEE along for the ride. We got our first taste of the new record this month with the driving “Your Apartment,” a song that just feels like the spring. “We’re so excited and eager to be releasing music for the first time in nearly two years,” Wallows say. “It’s the longest we’ve been silent and it feels good to finally be back. This is the first song from our new album that fully came together lyrically quite some time ago now, so it feels right that it gets heard first.” Tickets go on sale Friday (March 15) at 10 a.m. local time.
