Cheem accessorize pop-punk with your stupid ‘Charm Bracelet’

In pop-punk, you’re never fully dressed without a broken heart, and you know damn well that Cheem are gonna accessorize their blues. The Connecticut band preps the scene for their upcoming EP Fast Fashion — due out March 29 via Lonely Ghost Records — with “Charm Bracelet,” a woulda-coulda-shoulda tale of unrealized love and tacky jewelry. Fashion meets defeat in the new single and video, as the tune’s protagonist watches another person deck out their crush’s charm bracelet — the very same charm bracelet that crush supposedly hates. Our narrator squirms with regret while their love interest winces at their wrist; nobody wins here, except the jeweler and hungry Cheem fans waiting on another elastic track. (And for what it’s worth, this fashion faux pas is springier than a handful of Silly Bandz). Tune in below.
