If there’s one city that can take a good roastin’, it’s Boston. Now, Kim Congdon’s vision may not be to solely stick it to her audience, but if there’s one person who can make it happen, she’s coming to town.
As announced earlier this week, Congdon will be making her way to Somerville’s Crystal Ballroom on May 24. Fueled by her sharp joke writing and an unabashed ability to roast the hell out of anyone within earshot, the Los Angeles-based comedian has made quite an impact on the scene since starting out in comedy on Tony Hinchcliffe’s Kill Tony podcast, before working as a touring opener for Joe Rogan, Ralphie May, Joey Diaz and more.
Before she became a paid regular at the world famous Comedy Store last spring, Congdon also worked as a writer on Impractical Jokers, as well as a performer on a handful of TV shows on MTV, TruTV, and Comedy Central’s Road to Roast Battle. In addition to her work on stage, Congdon is also the co-host of the This Bitch podcast alongside Sara Weinshenk.
Tickets to this show can be accessed via The Regulars presale starting today (January 17) at 10 a.m. ET. General presale can be accessed starting Thursday (January 18) at 10 a.m. ET by using the code VANYA, before public on sale starts on Friday (January 19) at 10 a.m. ET.
