Scene Queen, The Bimbo Beta Pi Tour, November 20

Oh snap, the Scene Queen is coming to the Paradise Rock Club this fall, and we don’t mean that one lady who’s been hanging at The Model since the early 2000s. Nah, we’re referring to the neon pink comet born Hannah Collins, the New York-born, Los Angeles-based artist who pretty much put Bimbocore — described as metalcore with feminist themes — on that map. Now that map leads to the ‘Dise on November 20, with Scene Queen riding high on a pair of 2022 Bimbocore EPs and the foresight to get in on the whole Barbie resurrection way before everyone else. And do it louder than most. Check out “Barbie & Ken” below, prep your best colors for the Bimbo Beta Pi Tour, and get those sorority sisters on the horn. Tickets go on sale Friday (September 1) at 10 a.m. local time.
