Deon Cole shows us his ‘New Normal’ at Chevalier Theatre

Via Chevalier Theatre

We’ve certainly become accustomed to a different way of operating on the daily over these last few years, and Deon Cole is no exception. Now, he’s excited to share just what his “new normal” looks like.

As announced earlier this week, Cole will be making his way back to the area for his first gig at Medford’s Chevalier Theatre on December 1 as part of his My New Normal tour. Since his most recent stroll through town last year, Cole has continued to bring his insightful and highly personal stand-up perspective to stages all over the country, in addition to releasing his latest special, Charleen’s Boy on Netflix in November 2022. As well, he has also had a number of credits outside of stand-up added to his filmography over the past year, with roles in films like You People alongside Eddie Murphy, A Snowy Day in Oakland, and the starring role in his own TV sitcom, Average Joe on BET+.

Making his Wilbur debut on October 14, comedian and prankster Funny Marco makes his way to Boston in the midst of a progressive ascent in the comedy realm in which he brings his penchant for hijinks to a Boston crowd for the first time. With a social media presence that reaches over 10,000,000 followers around the world, the Kansas City native rose to prominence in the podcasting world with a highly successful run as host of Cornbread TV until the show’s end in December 2022.

Now on the Wilbur’s calendar for 2024, Eric D’Alessandro makes his way to Tremont Street on February 10. Powered by a charismatic and deeply relatable approach to storytelling, the unfiltered New Yorker continues to infuse his Italian-American heritage into virtually every fiber of his widely-acclaimed stage presence, as well as his offstage endeavors on screen. In addition to his efforts onstage, which have helped him sell out venues all over North America, as well as land a number film and TV roles, D’Alessandro is also anticipating the release of his first stand-up special later this fall.

Each of these shows go on sale to the general public today (August 11) at 10 a.m. ET.
