The Midnight, October 7
Over the past several years, The Midnight have ushered in a new era for electronic music, taking retro-pop nostalgia and plotting it alongside a futuristic aesthetic for a style of synthwave that feels refreshed with each release. Now the Los Angeles duo head back out on the road this fall, taking last year’s Heroes album out to the North American masses for 22 eastern-leaning dates that includes a stylized October 7 dance at Citizens House of Blues. Wear your finest throwbacks and gaze into tomorrow with the sophisticated synth sounds of the genre’s finest. Tickets go on sale Friday (April 14) at noon local time.
