It’s been a banner year for Joe List in 2022, and now it seems as though 2023 is going to hold at least one major hometown highlight.

As announced earlier this week, List will be making his first ever headline appearance at The Wilbur on April 15. The pride of Whitman has had quite a year in 2022, as he released a new stand-up special, This Year’s Material, as well as starred in his first feature film, Fourth Of July. Additionally, he’s continued to sell out clubs and theaters all over the country while also reaching even further with his podcast, Tuesdays With Stories with co-host Mark Normand.

While List is making his first round at The Wilbur, social media standout and comedian Anthony Rodia is taking his second lap of the venue with a show on February 17.

Repping the Northeast is always great, but Chelcie Lynn is making the trip up to deliver some deep south debauchery to The Wilbur as part of her 2 Fingers and a 12-Pack tour on May 4. Over the course of the last few years, Lynn has taken social media by storm with her plays on regional stereotypes overtly sexual nature, which has resulted in over 250,000 followers on Instagram, and 4.6 million followers on TikTok.

It’s never a dull moment when David Cross makes his way to town, and it’s safe to assume it will be much of the same when he brings his Worst Daddy in the World tour to The Wilbur on May 6. What makes this show even better is that fellow comedy powerhouse Sean Patton will be accompanying him to deliver a double-edged night of top-tier stand-up excellence.

We had the pleasure of hearing Samantha Bee’s stinging social commentary over the course of her seven-season run as host of Full Frontal with Samantha Bee on TBS. But now that the show has gone by the wayside following it’s cancellation this year, we have the pleasure of hearing all the hot takes up close and personal, as the Daily Show alum will have The Wilbur buzzing as part of her Your Favorite Woman tour on May 21.

Looking ahead to summer, Kevin James makes his way to the Wilbur as part of his Irregardless tour on June 10. After a number of years in the quiet side, the King of Queens star and fixture of the Sandlerverse made me his return to the stand-up special game back in 2018 with his first Netflix special, Never Don’t Give Up. Since then, he’s toured all over the country on the stand-up grind, as well as made a new move behind the camera with the Netflix series The Crew, which ran for one season in 2021.

Tickets for each of these shows can be accessed via presale today (December 14) by using the code VANYA, before tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday (December 16).
