Lost Cat raise their fists and raucous riffs on new single ‘Bitch Fight’

Lost Cat just found a new way to flip off their foes. The Los Angeles trio front-load their fuzzy riffs with angst on “Bitch Fight,” their new single that dropped last Friday (May 13). The frenetic song shares a belligerent slice of their forthcoming self-titled LP, which hits shelves May 27 via Lolipop Records. “I ain’t tryna go to jail today,” the band quips, but the fightin’ words implied by their fast fretwork says otherwise.

‘Bitch Fight’ was quietly written in my parents’ garage while they were sleeping,” singer and guitarist Kiki shares. “Originally, the lyrics were ‘fist fight’ but when I brought the song to practice, Lucy thought she heard ‘Bitch Fight’ and that’s where the name was coined. The song still needed a few more words, so the remainder of the song was again quietly written but this time at Angie’s dad’s house as he slept.”

That’s how a fist fight transforms into a ‘Bitch Fight’ literally overnight. Rip it up with Lost Cat below.
