Those who need any real proof that 2022 is likely to be more enjoyable than 2021, take note: Bon Iver is going on tour. Justin Vernon and crew today unveiled a 23-date North American tour that’s their first run of live shows since touring behind 2019’s i,i, and will follow a 10th anniversary edition of Bon Iver, Bon Iver that is out March 25 via Jagjaguwar. According to a release, it features five songs from Justin Vernon and Sean Carey’s AIR Studios session, a blind embossed version of the original cover art, and a personal essay from Phoebe Bridgers
The tour kicks off March 30 in Mesa, Arizona, and wrap June 25 in Ashville, North Carolina; along the way, Bon Iver hit three New England locations — Champlain Valley Exposition in Essex, Vermont (June 8); Thompson’s Point in Portland, Maine (June 10); and Bold Point Park in East Providence, Rhode Island (June 11).
