Before 2019 comes to an end, it looks like two of Boston’s preferred fashion brands will be debuting one epic collaboration.
This morning (December 2), Dr. Martens tweeted that the UK company has designed a special pair of shoes with Bodega, the Boston-born streetwear store that’s known for being “hidden in plain sight” at 6 Clearway Street in Back Bay.
The new kicks, which appear to be a set of black shoes with “BDGA” written across the toes, are scheduled to drop on Saturday (December 7).
“Our first ever collaboration with Boston-based streetwear brand @bodega lands this month,” the tweet states. “Expect a clash of materials fused with our iconic 1461 shoe. DR. MARTENS X BODEGA: dropping 7th December 2019.”
It’s unclear how many pairs were made, so make sure to nab some new shoes this weekend before they’re all snapped up by other fashion-forward Bostonians.
