Kaiser Chiefs return with a mighty bang and pop on ‘Record Collection’

British rock and roll survivalists Kaiser Chiefs are back with a bang, a pop, and a new tune called “Record Collection.” The indie-synth track revisits the anthemic quality of the band’s dynamic early work, and will be featured on forthcoming record Duck, which hits July 26 via Polydor.

Duck is the Kaiser Chiefs’ seventh studio album, and first since 2016’s Stay Together. From the sounds of “Record Collection,” Ricky Wilson and the boys sound recharged and energized.

“It’s undeniably fantastic and undeniably Kaiser Chiefs,” Wilson tells Radio X about the single. “It’s a vibe. It’s about the internet and frustration with the internet, about how it rules our lives but we don’t really understand what it is and how we just click accept.”

Use the internet to fall in love with Kaiser Chiefs all over again.
