In a world divided by virtually everything, the one thing we should all be able to agree on is that Colin Quinn is unbeatable. If you don’t believe it, he’s coming back to Boston this spring to state his case again.
As announced this week, the stand-up and sketch comedy legend is set to make a highly anticipated return to Boston this year, with one night set at The Wilbur on May 22. While there isn’t a particular theme set for the show’s makeup, it’s safe to say that Quinn has quite a bit to say, in a way where he has historically bridged the gap between “give peace a chance” and “what the hell is going on here?” while keeping the room light and engaged with his expertly crafted writing and delivery. Most recently, Quinn made a return to the realm of comedy specials with two full releases in 2014 with Our Time is Up and Stamps & Tea.
As for other shows hitting the Wilbur calendar in the coming months, Michael Blackson returns on June 13, while Jamie Lissow brings his Better Off Dad tour to town on August 16. Before we think too far into the warmer months, though, Trevor Wallace is adding a third show to his Wilbur stop on March 22.
