AROLD, Clyde Black, and Notebook P give us ‘SUMTHIN’ to be happy about

Six days into 2026, Randolph’s music scene was already off to the races. One of the first local tracks to hit streaming services this year was “SUMTHIN’,” a collab between AROLD, Clyde Black, and Notebook P — all musicians who reside in or have ties to the Massachusetts town. The new single — produced by Lowell’s DeevoDaGenius — layers the gents’ quick bars over a foundation of simmering bass. In an era where the news is increasingly suffocating, “SUMTHIN'” is something of a much-needed hip-hop chill pill. And more’s on the way — the song will appear on AROLD and DeevoDaGenius’ forthcoming project, “Guerrilla Monsoon.” Tune in below.
