Snow is falling, Mariah Carey is defrosting, and visions of the Boston Music Awards are dancing in our heads. Which means that the slate of performers for the annual celebration of the Boston music community has arrived right on schedule.
According to an announcement on social media yesterday (December 3), The Far Out, Miranda Rae (pictured above), Megan From Work, Nate Perry & Ragged Company, ISHA!, and EXITFAME are the nominees who will take the stage next Wednesday at Big Night Live for the 2025 edition of the BMAs.
The six acts — which span soul-pop, Americana, R&B, soft punk, and hip-hop — boast 12 total nominations, and will be vying against each other for some of the night’s top honors.
ISHA!, The Far Out, and Megan From Work will face off in the New Artist of the Year category; The Far Out and Megan From Work will also square up — with EXITFAME — for the title of Album/EP of the Year. Elsewhere in ceremony, Nate Perry and Miranda Rae will be among the contenders for Vocalist of the Year.
