Mic’d Up: Paul F. Tompkins keeps us guessing with ‘Varietopia’

Via The Wilbur

As a creative force that has always shot from the hip, Paul F. Tompkins is making his way back to the area with an all-new edition of doing just that, while keeping his audience on their toes.

With an all-too-familiar and wholly welcomed flair for the type of comedy and pizzazz that keeps the crowd on their toes, Tompkins returns to the area for a night to remember at The Wilbur on Saturday (May 3) as he brings an all-new edition of his hit variety stage show, Varietopia, back to town. With elements of music, sketch and, of course, comedy, Tompkins will be joined by a revolving cast of friends to deliver a truly open-ended night, where nobody where things will end up, but the ride to get there will sure be a laugh riot.

There’s nobody in show business that can pull something like this off quite like Tompkins, so be sure to catch a true lover of the art form at work in all of his creatively agile and zany glory.
