Wake up babe, Waking Windows just dropped its 2025 lineup.

Vermont’s annual music festival in Winooski has announced the initial bill of performers for this year’s edition, which is scheduled for the weekend of May 2 to 4. Former Boston resident Palehound (pictured above) and Brooklyn’s Cut Worms lead the lineup of 40-plus acts, the majority of which are local to to the Green Mountain State.

As the spring fling spreads across Winooski at venues like The Monkey House and the Rotary Stage (within the central Rotary Park), the fest will showcase different pockets of Vermont’s music scene, from Lily Seabird’s grungy clash of folk and rock, to Barbacoa’s retro surf melodies, and Mikahely’s vibrant taste of his native Madagascar.

A few other New England names stand out on the flyer: Dead Gowns hails from Portland, Maine; Rick Rude and Footings are both based in New Hampshire; and former Vermont artist Maryse Smith now resides in Martha’s Vineyard. Undertow Brass Band, one of the top-billed acts, will also be making the journey North from Providence, Rhode Island. Some performers from outside of New England include Toronto garage band Wine Lips and New York’s tropical psychedelia act, Combo Chimbita.

General admission passes to the Rotary Stage on Saturday are on sale now for $67.78; tickets to shows at The Monkey House will be on sale at the door on Friday, May 2 and Sunday, May 4. Per Waking Windows’ website, “all other shows on these days are free.”
