Pete Holmes offers something for the whole family at The Wilbur

In recent years, we’ve established that the comedy of Pete Holmes may not be for everyone. However, he’s returning to home turf to offer a new show that aims to be for everyone — to a degree, at least.

As announced earlier this week, the Lexington native will return to The Wilbur on August 23 as part of his PG-13 tour. While the show does boast that the material within it may be cleaner than we’ve been accustomed to with Holmes, we’re not sure how accurate that statement will prove to be. What is more than likely, however, is a new batch of jokes, stories, and maybe even a few thought-provoking pondering from the ever-churning mind of the longtime stand-up vet.

It will be the first time Holmes has been back in town in a number of years, since which he has released his most recent special, I Am Not For Everyone, while continuing to host his hit podcast, You Made It Weird with Pete Holmes — so don’t miss out on a homecoming that is sure to be a special night.

Additionally, while Yohay Sponder has booked his Wilbur debut for June 8, Josh Johnson has also added a seventh show to his stop in Boston on September 4.

While Johnson’s show can be accessed via the Regulars presale now, tickets to the other shows can be accessed via venue presale starting on Thursday (March 27) at 10 a.m. ET. General on-sale begins Friday (March 28) at 10 a.m. ET.
