Mic’d Up: Craig Ferguson swears to truth with his ‘Pants on Fire’

Editor’s Note: It’s the same thing we all know in love when it comes to Vanyaland’s recurring weekly live comedy rundown, Mic’d Up — just a slightly different face. We’ll be hyping club shows, theater and arena gigs, open mics, and whatever else to help fill your free time with some much-needed laughter.

The mind of Craig Ferguson continues to be an ever-evolving utopia of colorful creativity, and comedic insanity. As he makes his way back to Boston with a brand new show, that kind of mind may just be exactly what we need right now.

Equipped with a brand new show along the path of his ongoing Pants On Fire tour, Ferguson returns to The Wilbur on Thursday (March 13) to deliver a fresh slate of his comedically vibrant storytelling and genuine curiosity in the world around him. In addition to the new stuff you’ll hear this week, Ferguson also recently released his latest full-length special, I’m So Happy at the tail end of 2024, which seems to fall perfectly in line with the approach that the late-night legend has taken over the years as an artist who rarely ever stops. When he isn’t on the stage, Ferguson also hosts Joy, a Podcast.

Whatever it is you’re looking for right now, whether it be humor, insight, snark, or a mish mash of all of the above, Ferguson is the one who Will gleefully deliver, just when you need it.

CRAIG FERGUSON :: Thursday, March 13 at The Wilbur Theatre, 246 Tremont St. in Boston, MA :: 6:30 p.m., $35 to $45 :: Advance tickets
