Editor’s Note: With a brand new year comes new shows, new faces, and a new format for Vanyaland’s recurring weekly live comedy rundown, Mic’d Up. We’ll be hyping club shows, theater and arena gigs, open mics, and whatever else to help fill your free time with some much-needed laughter.

With the schedule that Taylor Tomlinson keeps nowadays, saving everything she can is key. Time, energy, you name it. When it comes to her fans, though — specifically the ones flooding to Boston this weekend to witness her triumphant return to the city — she’s making the next few days all about saving us from the winter blues with her top-tier comedy superpowers.

Adding to an already storied history with Boston, Tomlinson brings her highly anticipated Save Me tour into a very packed five-show weekend at the Wang Theatre, which includes the rare double matinee on Sunday (March 2) following one show tonight (February 28) and two shows on Saturday (March 1). Tomlinson returns to the city after a very busy 2024, and early 2025, in which she balanced a heavy touring schedule alongside the release of her third Netflix special Have It All, and her work as host of the successful late-night game show After Midnight on CBS.

The projects may be a’plenty for Tomlinson, but the quality of each respective gig remains fully intact, and her current hour is just the latest bit of creative potency the stand-up star has crafted along the way of her journey to being one of the industry’s leading talents, so check it out — as well as our 2023 interview with her — before her schedule gets even crazier.
