The True Faith may have relocated to Philadelphia, but the chill of their atmospheric post-punk is still encroaching on New England. The former Boston band have released a split 7-inch with Demmers, pairing their tune “Can’t Be Sure” with the New Jersey group’s offering “Leave It Alone.” The project arrived at the end of last month (January 31) via Council Records, marbling The True Faith’s icy sense of anguish and murky melodies supplied by Demmers. The True Faith also dropped a music video to accompany their entry, though it’s a touch too grisly to post here — let’s just say that anyone who’s averse to needles and/or body horror might want to enjoy this one strictly on vinyl.
