Lord Huron, Tour 2025, August 3

Lord Huron are about to set off on their biggest headline tour of North America yet — and that’s not what generated the most headlines this week. The Los Angeles indie-folk band, which plays Boston’s MGM Music Hall at Fenway on August 3 with Lee Fields as direct support, released cinematic new single “Who Laughs Last?”, and both the track and the video stars Academy Award-nominated actor Kristen Stewart. That’s a solid get! It’s the Love Lies Bleeding luminary’s debut recording, and here’s what she has to say about it: “I’ve always loved the band and immediately sparked to the manic drift of the song and to the mood. I love when a song is something you can kind of seep into and imagine. Ben [Schneider, frontman] is the nicest, I was so into reading his words… there’s nothing like making new friends through projects like these that just crop up. Lucky stuff.” Maybe we’ll get a cameo at MGM in the summer; Boston is “Hollywood East,” after all. Tickets go on sale on Friday (January 31) at 10 a.m. local time.
