Turnover, 10 Years of Peripheral Vision, June 11
New scream, meet the old scream. Turnover have announced details of their 10 Years of Peripheral Vision Tour, which rolls into Citizens House of Blues in Boston on June 11. The Virginia Beach indie band released the Will Yip-produced record on Boston’s Run For Cover Records back in Spring 2015, so the show in our town has a bit of a homecoming feel. Turnover first unveiled a handful of anniversary dates late last year, and the reaction was so strong the tour eventually swelled from five North American shows to the 38-date cross-country run the band will embark on later this year. “We can’t thank you enough for the overwhelming love and support,” Turnover writes. “Seeing how much this record means to so many of you is beyond inspiring and something we truly never dreamed of.” Fire up “New Scream” below, and reminisce about where you were — in school, at a cool job, just living life with excitement — back in 2015 before things took a dramatic turn the very next year. Tickets go on sale Friday (January 17) at 10 a.m. local time.
