Cavalera, Third World Trilogy Tour, March 9
If there was ever a time to swandive into tracks like “Nightmares of Delirium” and “Escape to the Void,” it’ll be the first few month of 2025. So Cavalera Conspiracy is here to bring the metal. The project of founding Sepultura members Max and Igor Cavalera resurrected its earliest material in 2023, re-recording albums Morbid Visions, Bestial Devastation, and guitarist Andreas Kisser’s first album with the band, Schizophrenia. A spring tour delivers them to the Paradise Rock Club in Boston on March 9, with a focus on the albums dubbed the Third World Trilogy U.S. Tour, with Oakland’s death metal band Necrot California thrash/hardcore dudes Dead Heat. Says Max: “If you want to hear fast riffs, pummeling drums, thunderous bass, and schizophrenic leads, jump in our pit!!” And Igor adds: “I’m super excited about this upcoming us tour, is one of those rare chances to see our first releases on our most purest form performed live. I hope to see you all in the pit!!! Don’t sleep on these dates. You have been warned.” Tickets go on sale Friday (December 20) at 10 a.m. local time.
