Thievery Corporation, March 1
Nearly 30 years in the game, Thievery Corporation are still dropping an inspired beat. The downtempo electronic music duo of Rob Garza and Eric Hilton continue to spread inclusion and community with each party, combining a host of global voices and live band players for a unique celebration that showcases an ever-expanding catalog. After a spring tour skipped our town earlier this year, the project finally brings the goods back to Boston for show at Citizens House of Blues on March 1. Maybe they’ll bring frequent collaborator Mr. Lif out for a bar or two. “Our shows are VERY live, lots of energy, the combination of multiple instruments and singers that take you on a musical journey,” says Garza. “It’s a multicultural experience, people connect to the band and to each other, it’s beautiful.” We’ll need lots of that energy in 2025. Tickets go on sale Friday (December 20) at 10 a.m. local time.
