W. Kamau Bell calls for a gathering of the minds at The Wilbur

For as long as he’s been a creative and comedic force, W. Kamau Bell has also been a force for social change and political activism. Looking ahead to the new year, he’s making his way to town to gather with people who share his vision, and to ask the tough questions.

As announced earlier this week, Bell will be making a rare trip out to Boston for a night at The Wilbur on May 23 as part of his Who’s With Me? Tour. It’s been several years since Bell last took the Wilbur stage, but in that time, he’s stayed busy with multiple projects including being at the helm of a number of documentaries like We Need To Talk About Cosby and 1000% Me: Growing Up Mixed, as well as the hit CNN series United Shades of America, which ran for seven seasons until its finale in 2022.

Viral star Zachariah Porter will be making his way to The Wilbur on March 1 as part of his Strip Mall Tease Tour. The anticipation of Porter making way to town with endearing character work and fabulous wigs in tow was so intense, in fact, that his Boston show sold out almost immediately, so a second show has been added at Chevalier Theatre in Medford on February 28.

Additionally, Andrew Santino has added a fourth show on February 15 as part of the Boston stop on his Freeze Peach Tour.

Over in Somerville, Veronika Slowikowska and Kyle Chase are set to bring a little TikTok magic of their own, as well as the wonderful chaos of their Nevermind podcast, to the Crystal Ballroom stage as part of their Together Forever? The Tour! on February 20.

Tickets for these shows can be accessed via venue pre-sales starting today (November 21) at 10 a.m. ET by using the code VANYA. Public on-sale is slated to begin on Friday (November 22) at 10 a.m. ET.
