Peach Pit & Briston Maroney, Long Hair, Long Life Tour, June 24
Here’s a new motto we are taking into 2025: Long Hair, Long Life. And it’s not just a vibe to help us get through some crazy times, it’s also the name of a co-headline tour from Peach Pit and Briston Maroney, who team up for 25 dates in the spring across an unsuspecting North America. Along the way is a June 24 stop at Boston’s MGM Music Hall at Fenway, and by then we’ll likely know all the words to Peach Pit’s recent album Magpie, which should enjoy a shelf life well into next year. “We couldn’t be more excited for this upcoming tour with our good friend Briston Maroney,” says Peach Pit vocalist Neil Smith. “It’s our biggest tour ever and we’re playing some really crazy venues, places like Red Rocks in Colorado that I honestly never really thought were in the cards for us. It freaks me out that we somehow managed to go from rehearsing in Chris’ bedroom 10 years ago to venues like The Greek in LA and Pier 17 in New York. 2014 Peach Pit would be tripping out right now.” Heck, we’re tripping out right now. Tickets go on sale on Thursday (November 21) at noon local time.
