Armor For Sleep, What To Do When You Are Dead 20th Anniversary Tour, March 6

Back in February 2005, Armor For Sleep unveiled What To Do When You Are Dead, and that advice in the title may come in pretty handy very soon. But perhaps not before the New Jersey emo and post-hardcore band takes the record out on a 20th anniversary tour, with support from Boys Night Out and Hellogoodbye, and the first of 25 dates kicks off March 6 at the Paradise Rock Club in Boston. Even with the anni celebration, Armor For Sleep have been active recently, releasing The Rain Museum in 2022 and new singles “In Another Dream” and last month’s “What A Beautiful World.” Here’s what frontman Ben Jorgensen has to say about the new joint: “‘What A Beautiful World’ is a song about examining toxic relationships we often find ourselves in and how hard it can be to free ourselves from situations that we know, ultimately, are unhealthy for us. At the same time, this song is about looking back at those relationships and still appreciating the good parts.” Tickets go on sale Friday (November 15) at 10 a.m. local time.
