Adam Conover ruins everything, except for a night at The Wilbur

Curiosity may have killed the cat, but it only continues to fuel the creative and comedic evolution of Adam Conover — and he’s making his way back to us for his biggest Boston show to date to show us how.

As announced earlier this week, the famously inquisitive comedian and television host will return to Boston in the new year, making his Wilbur debut on February 23 as part of his upcoming Nihilism Pivot tour. Aside from his continued work on stage, Conover most recently released his very first comedy special, Unmedicated in September on the Dropout streaming service, while also continuing his work as host of his Factually! podcast.

Homecomings are always a treat, and when it’s Chris Fleming — the one and only “Pride of Stow, Massachusetts” — it brings the fanfare to a whole new level that we’re here for every time, and it will be no exception when he makes his way back to The Wilbur on February 7. Of course, his most recent special, 2023’s Hell was met with thunderous acclaim, but Fleming only continues to create bigger and better comedy on stages all over the country with his ever-expanding catalog of character work and off-the-cuff absurdist perspectives.

Jarlath Regan is wasting no time in making his plans to return to Boston after marking off a few sold out shows in the city this week, as he sets his sights on making his Wilbur debut as part of his In Bits tour on April 23. Also making her own triumphant return to Boston will be Jessica Kirson, who makes her way back to The Wilbur on April 26.

Before she even steps foot on the big stage in Boston as part of Comics Come Home 28, Zarna Garg is already making plans to return to the area with one night at Medford’s Chevalier Theatre on December 31 to help us close out the year with a bang.

Shifting focus to Somerville, Joe Mande returns to Crystal Ballroom for another night of low-key comedy chaos on January 5, while up the street, British stand-up standout Sarah Keyworth makes the trip across the pond for a slew of dates in the states, including one night at The Armory on March 15.
