Boston Thriving: SeeFour will compete on Netflix’s ‘Rhythm + Flow’

Editor’s Note: “Boston Thriving” is an ongoing series from Vanyaland highlighting and honoring the national and global success of Boston- and New England-based bands and artists.

We’ve dedicated ample Boston Thriving articles to artists whose music has appeared on Netflix and Hulu, but today, SeeFour is raising that bar. The Boston rapper will be a contestant in Season 2 of the Netflix show Rhythm + Flow, a hip-hop competition based in Atlanta. As a competitor, SeeFour will vie for a $250,000 prize, performing before an A-list judging panel of DJ Khaled, Latto, and Ludacris.

Rhythm + Flow debuted in 2019 and returns for another season starting November 20. SeeFour appears at the 23 second mark of the new trailer, which broke the big news last week (October 18); SeeFour’s manager Robert “ROB.” Kelley-Morgan confirmed his participation on X as well.

SeeFour most recently released the September single “NO PAIN NO GAIN,” which followed his late 2023 project Spirit Of A Warrior. We last caught up with him for his “Show Stealer” music video — although our favorite track from the local emcee remains the 2020 single “On God,” which we named one of the best homegrown tracks of that year.

Check out the big reveal and Season 2 trailer below.
