Blxst is about to get his Bryan Mills on. The Los Angeles rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer dropped new concept project album I’ll Always Come Find You over the summer via Evgle and Red Bull Records, and now is off on a 30-date tour of the same name. Included in the run is a party tonight (October 15) at Citizens House of Blues in Boston, with support from collaborator Leon Thomas.
I’ll Always Come Find You is an ambitious release, a 20-track collection split into four volumes of five songs each and is narrated by Birdie, a person who inherits his father’s chauffeur car service. It features collabs with 2 Chainz, Offset, Anderson .Paak, Ty Dolla $ign (peep “I Need Your Love” below), Kamasi Washington, and others.
“I been dreaming big! I’m thinking, like, how can we make it a play on stage? Bring the characters from the short film on the tour, where they can pop out and give a monologue,” Blxst tells Billboard about the tour.
He’ll find a way, he’ll find us.
