The comedy of Beth Stelling has always been rife with a genuine approach and brutal honesty. This time however, she has a new con to run in Somerville, and we’re gladly going to fall for it – again.
Bringing the fall leg of her Body Con tour to Somerville’s Armory tonight (September 27), Stelling returns to the birthplace of Marshmallow Fluff to take on a larger stage and a larger audience, with anything but fluff packed into a brand new hour of the versatile brand of comedy she’s cultivated for her growing fan base over the course of the past few years.
Since her last trek to town, the Ohio native has only continued to widen her reach as one of the most critically-acclaimed and sought after creatives forces in the game, which is most recently showcased in her 2023 Netflix special If You Didn’t Want Me Then.
If there’s some free space rolling around on your Friday night calendar, you won’t have many more chances to check out someone of Stelling’s caliber in a space like this before things really pop off. Thank us later.
