Pulling up to The Wilbur tonight (September 6), the Chappelle’s Show and The Wire standout returns to Boston for the second time in two years to bring us up to speed, in true Donnell Rawlings fashion, on every oddity and excitement he’s experiencing lately. Of course, he’s got a new hour at the ready this time around following the release of his Netflix special, A New Day earlier this year as part of the Dave Chappelle’s Home Team stand-up series. But having cemented himself as one of the most consistent and trustworthy comedians when it comes to delivering an “all killer, no filler” hour of stand-up night after night, Rawlings doesn’t seem to be hitting the brakes on bringing the full Donnell experience to the masses any time soon.
