Trae Crowder is bringing a ‘Liberal Redneck’ resistance to The Wilbur

In a professional sense, Trae Crowder has come a long way from his front porch. As it turns out, he’s also come a long way geographically-speaking, as well, and he’s putting in more miles early next year — with his coordinates set for Boston.

As announced earlier this week, the Tennessee native and self-proclaimed “Liberal Redneck” will be making his way to Boston for his debut at The Wilbur on March 22. Aside from the viral moments he’s left us for nearly the last decade across social media, Crowder has also brought his camo-clad comedy charm into the stand-up realm, having released his latest special Damn, Boy! on YouTube in 2023. He’s also a successful published author, having written The Liberal Redneck Manifesto: Draggin’ Dixie Outta the Dark in 2016. Since then, he’s also appeared on a number of podcasts and TV shows including Real Time with Bill Maher, Nightline, WTF with Marc Maron, the Veronica Mars reboot, and more.

A few stops up on the Red Line, Romesh Ranganathan is bringing his new show Hustle to Somerville’s Crystal Ballroom on January 14. In addition to being one of the U.K.’s biggest comedy acts today, which has resulted in selling out arenas all over the map across the pond, Ranganathan has released a one-hour special, The Cynic on Netflix, and has also starred in a number of television roles over the years, including BBC’s Asian Provocateur and The Ranganation, Sky’s A League Of Their Own, and more.

Tickets for these shows can be accessed now via venue pre-sales by using the code VANYA. Public on-sale begins Friday (September 6) at 10 a.m. ET.
