Music has taken on a more theatrical vibe over the past year, with the likes of The Last Dinner Party and Chappell Roan adding a new type of flair to their style in sound. Spencer Sutherland is taking that vibe well into 2025, as the Ohio-born pop artist and model delivers his stage-minded Drama to Brighton Music Hall in Allston on March 22. The tour name is lifted from a forthcoming October album that should elevate his profile as high as those cheekbones. “The Drama is what I like to call opera pop-rock,” he tells Live Nation. “The rock n’ roll drive mixed with glamourized over-the-top lyrics makes you feel confident. If you were watching a movie of your life, wouldn’t you want to laugh and cry? What’s life without a little drama?” And what’s music without a little theater?
