Alan Walker is a global phenomenon. The enduring Norwegian DJ and producer has been jet-setting around the world for a few busy years now, and brings his energetic and affirming dance party to MGM Music Hall at Fenway in Boston on September 14, part of a short run of North American dates tucked between massive appearances across Europe, India, and pretty much everywhere else. Since he arrived on the scene in 2015 as a teenager with debut banger “Faded,” now creeping up on two billion streams on Spotify and 3.7 billion views on YouTube, Walker and his rabid fanbase of Walkers have been doing the impossible: Keeping EDM fresh and vibrant long after the trendy kids moved on to other things. The hooded n’ masked artist has collaborated with the likes of Ava Max, Hans Zimmer, Noah Cyrus, Sia, Bruno Mars, Coldplay, and others, and now brings his insane visuals and dazzling production to Lansdowne. Tickets go on sale on Friday (July 19) at 10 a.m. local time.
