Rachel Bloom pleads with ‘Death’ again at The Wilbur

Via The Wilbur

Although she’s been spared before when it comes to being able to do her show, Rachel Bloom is once again pleading with the Grim Reaper to let her just do her thing in Boston.

As announced earlier this week, Bloom will return to the area this summer with her latest show Death, Let Me Do My Show, as she sets up for one night at The Wilbur on August 10. Since her last trip to the area with this show, Bloom has performed all over the world with the creeping shadow of death cheekily looming over her, including a sold-out run off Broadway at Lucille Lortel Theatre and Orpheum Theatre. Away from the stage, Bloom can most recently be seen guest starring as Elaine Levitch in the second season of Julia on Max.

Also taking place at The Wilbur, English comedian John Bishop will making a trip across the pond to embark on his Back At It Tour, which will bring him to The Wilbur for the first time on July 18. Since starting his comedy career in the early 2000s following a career in semi-pro soccer, Bishop has released five stand-up specials, with Winging It Live coming the most recently in 2018. Additionally, Tommy Tiernan makes his way back to The Wilbur as part of his Tommedian Tour on October 27.

From the exciting world of Wild n’ Out, Dallas native B. Simone is bringing her comedy to the east coast for a little pre-Thanksgiving throw down at Somerville’s Crystal Ballroom on November 22. With her growing fanbase, which has resulted a number of non-comedy ventures like her popular makeup brand B.SimoneBeauty, and her fitness line B.SimoneFit, she has reached over 11 million followers on social media. She also launched the Know For Sure podcast in April 2022, which currently stays strong as a top 100 podcast on Apple.

Tickets for these shows can be accessed via the Regulars presale starting today (June 5) at 10 a.m. ET, before venue presale can be accessed starting Thursday (June 6) at 10 a.m. ET by using the code VANYA. General on-sale starts on Friday (June 7) at 10 a.m. ET.
