Have a Nice Life, July 21
There’s always a playful conversation when debating whether or not Connecticut belongs to New England, and the decision is usually a result of some arbitrary line running diagonal line running northwest to southeast. When it comes to Have a Nice Life, the genre-defying Middletown rock band fresh off an appearance at Sick New World festival, we’re quick to claim regardless of boundaries. Have a Nice Life have unveiled a string of six live shows this summer, bringing some of that doom, gloom, drone, and death to both coasts, and the run includes a July 21 romp at Boston’s Paradise Rock Club. Other stops include D.C., Philadelphia, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Seattle, so we’ll go right ahead and call this the hometown gig. Tickets go on sale Friday (May 3) at 10 a.m. local time.
