Judah & The Lion, The Process Tour, October 17
Here’s some simple, but invaluable, advice: Trust The Process; trust Judah & The Lion. The celebrated Nashville folk-pop band have a new album out in May (title up there in italics), and they’re taking it out on a tour, appropriately dubbed The Process Tour, which snakes its way to Citizens House of Blues in Boston on October 17. The record is the follow-up to Judah & The Lion’s 2022 effort Revival, and is described as a “soul-baring song cycle that wrestles with the five stages of grief.” Frontman Judah Akers reveals its all quite personal, inspired by his life and struggles: “I was fighting for my marriage, going crazy, and getting sick. I fought writing about what I was going through. Finally, a friend told me, ‘If you don’t write about the biggest heartbreak of your life, you can’t be honest in your work.’ And he was right.” Check out recent single “Floating In The Night” below. Tickets go on sale Friday (April 26) at 10 a.m. local time.
