Bryson Tiller, The Bryson Tiller Tour, May 31
Last year, Bryson Tiller hit the road for the Back and I’m Better Tour, the Louisville Trapsoul artist’s first tour in six years. Turns out the dude enjoyed the experience, as Tiller not only unveiled a short run of dates in December, teaming up with DJ Nitrane for six shows, but now has two upcoming Boston shows, leveling up to play MGM Music Hall at Fenway on May 30 and 31. The second date was just announced earlier this week, coming right after Tiller dropped his new self-titled album. Despite the new jams, we’re still hoping he busts out “Down Like That,” the absolute pop-R&B bop Tiller supplied for PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie. Yeah, we were surprised to see him on that soundtrack, too, but the jam absolutely rules. “My kids absolutely love the fact that I am a part of this, and there’s nothing but smiles every time they hear me,” Tiller tells EBONY. “But, honestly, they were the second driving factor in my hopping on the movie’s soundtrack. The first was the fact that it was just something very different for me, and it got me excited. Sometimes I get bored in the studio, so this is a way to keep the job fun for me.” Tickets go on sale Thursday (April 11) at 10 a.m. local time.
