Sheng Wang will be keeping things low and slow at The Wilbur

We aren’t too sure if it’ll be sweet or juicy like before, but what we do know is that Sheng Wang is going to deliver his comedy goodness with a calculated precision.

As announced earlier this week, Wang is set to make his way back to the area for a night of laid back hilarity at The Wilbur on October 19. It will be the comedian and writer’s first trip back to the area since the premiere of his highly acclaimed 2022 Netflix special, Sweet & Juicy. In addition to his hustle in the comedy scene, which finds him on stages all over the country throughout the year, Wang can also be seen on HBO’s 2 Dope Queens special, and he was also credited as a writer and executive editor for the ABC smash-hit series Fresh Off The Boat from 2015 to 2018.

Taking a quick jaunt outside of the proper city limits, Medford is gearing up further to be full of that comedy good good throughout the year, as Sabrina, The Teenage Witch co-stars Melissa Joan Hart and Caroline Rhea bring their double-billed live comedy show I Identify As a Witch to Chevalier Theatre on May 11. As well, Entourage standout Jeremy Piven is set to return to the area for a night of stand-up at The Chevalier on June 15, while comedy vet Vic DiBitetto makes a return of his own for one night in Medford on September 7.

Just down the street from everyone’s favorite local former school auditorium-turned-performance space, Neil Hamburger is coming to town to bring his unique brand of comedy and music to Medford’s Deep Cuts on September 6.

Tickets to these shows can be accessed now via The Regulars presale before venue pre-sales can be accessed by using the code VANYA beginning on Thursday (April 4) at 10 a.m. ET. General public on-sale is slated to start on Friday (April 5) at 10 a.m. ET.
