This past Friday, the Rock and Roll Rumble unveiled its Class of 2024 live on Boston Emissions with Anngelle Wood, revealing the 24 bands set to do friendly battle in the vaunted “World Series of Boston Rock.” And now, we know which band will be playing on what night, and just how the six preliminary nights shape up.
Showcasing four bands each night, the six-pack of prelims go down at The Middle East in Cambridge over two weekends, April 4 to 6 and April 11 to 13. The winner of each night, along with two “wild card” entries, will advance to the semi-finals at Sonia next door on April 19 and 20. The victors of those two parties, plus another wild card, will comprise the three-band Finals lineup at Sonia on May 4. Last year, Salem’s One Fall took home the ’23 Rumble crown.
