Fivio Foreign, The Pain & Love Tour, May 17
Boston gets a taste of the Brooklyn drill scene this spring, as Fivio Foreign rolls into Citizens House of Blues on May 17. The your announcement hits at the right time, as the rapper just dropped his “Waiting” video featuring Sheff G, and appears on Meek Mill’s new Heathenism EP, linking up on “Whatever I Want.” On “Waiting,” produced by Great John and lifted from Fivio’s fresh mixtape Pain & Love 2, the artist lets it fly: “Say, we go, I come with the killers / Everywhere I go, they say I’m the realest / Everywhere I go, they say I’m the look / I gotta bounce, huh, I get that money out of town / They book me another show in the A and I ain’t even turn ’em down.” The clip also calls for the release of Sheff G, who according to reports, was arrested last year on conspiracy and attempted murder charges. Tickets go on sale Friday (March 1) at 10 a.m. local time.
