Here comes great news for babysitters: The National and The War on Drugs are teaming up for a co-headlining North American tour in the fall.
It’s dubbed the Zen Diagram Tour, and the 19-date jaunt gets started in maybe the most underrated venue in the country, the Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion in Guilford, on September 12. Two days later, Massachusetts gets a crack at it with a September 14 twirl at Mansfield’s Xfinity Center.
Both bands have recent records to show off: The War on Drugs’ dropped I Don’t Live Here Anymore in 2021 (though I guess that’s not as recent as it seems) and The National gave us a pair of albums just last year in First Two Pages of Frankenstein and Laugh Track.
Lucius, who just rolled through town, are on board as the opener for the New England dates, as well as all the others outside Mexico. Interesting.
Anyway, tickets go on sale this Friday (March 1) via the usual outlets. Check all the dates below.
