The new project from the Lowell DJ and producer — which arrived February 7 — provides a veritable sampler of local hip-hop greatness, not unlike last year’s “All Praises” collab. Bridging bars from Boston, Brockton, and beyond, DeevoDaGenius postures as the proud curator of his personal station, “97.8 Champion Sound,” a keen nod to the 978 area code. And while the producer sets the victorious tone immediately with a clip of Super Beagle’s oft-sampled “Dust A Sound Boy,” perhaps MonaVeli said it best on “4 MISSED CALLS,” a skit conveyed via increasingly emotional voicemails: “It’s been a long season, but remember, you’re on the winning team, babe.”
