Last fall, Nation of Language released its third album in Strange Disciple, and its already showing the type of staying power that suggests we’ll still be listening to it several years from now. In the more immediate future comes word of the Brooklyn synth-pop trio’s headlining dates, which follows a tour opening for Beach Fossils, and included in the run of East Coast shows is a May 30 kickoff at Royale in Boston.
In addition to all that, Nation of Language will also appear at Field Day festival in Northampton on May 31 — co-headlining a stellar lineup that also includes Indigo de Souza, Dehd, Thus Love, and others — as well as Tennesse’s Bonnaroo Festival on June 13.
Get all the dates below — including the Beach Fossils gigs, which kick off with three sold-out shows in ew York City — and mentally prep for the Boston date in May. Former Bostonian Ian Sweet opens that show up, as well as the other club dates, so it feels extra special.
