Madness, C’est La Vie In America, May 29

Every now and then we must travel “One Step Beyond” the confines of “Our House,” and theres no better way to know “It Must Be Love” than seeing Madness on their first North American tour in a dozen years. The legendary English ska/pop band have announced a handful of stateside dates around an appearance at Las Vegas’ Punk Rock Bowling, and included is a May 29 dance party at MGM Music Hall at Fenway. Last November, Madness released their eighth album, Theatre of the Absurd Presents C’est la Vie. “I remember the first time we were in the  USA, crossing the Brooklyn Bridge, The Mud Club, ABC City,” says Madness frontman Suggs in a press release. “I remember Jelly Bean Benetiz, Madonna, Beastie Boys, Run DC Link Ray. I remember California, Fishbone, BossTones, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Whisky Gogo, The Dead Kennedys.
