As is New England tradition over the past decade: Christmas arrives in December, and the Boston Calling lineup follows in January.

The Memorial Day weekend music festival, going down this year from May 24 to May 26, unveiled its lineup today (January 9). And it features more than 50 bands and artists led by a headlining trio of pop superstar Ed Sheeran, country artist Tyler Childers, and modern rock survivalists The Killers.

Tickets across several tiers (three-day general admission, GA+, VIP, and platinum tickets, plus single-day general admission, GA+, VIP and platinum) go on sale Thursday (January 11) via bostoncalling.com. The festival homepage has more details.

Beyond the headliners, Boston Calling’s 2024 lineup packs a wallop, with a diverse array of rising and veteran performers that includes Leon Bridges, Megan Thee Stallion, Hozier, Mean Girls musical actor and “I Hate Boston” singer Reneé Rapp, Khruangbin, Frank Turner and The Sleeping Souls, Young the Giant, Blondshell, and Vanyaland fave and ’23 Album of the Year alt-pop rhinestone country comet Chappell Roan.

And as has been the case in recent years, with the help of the locals-only Orange Stage, Boston Calling has cranked up the presence of homegrown artists, and this year’s lineup features more than 20 from across New England. Notable names include veterans Bad Rabbits, who played the very first Boston Calling back in 2013, as well as Divine Sweater, kei, Ward Hayden & The Outliers, Zola Simone, Beach Weather, STEFAN THEV, Senseless Optimism, Billy Dean Thomas, Justin Clancy, Cakeswagg, ToriTori, Tysk Tysk Task, Paper Lady, and more (hit the links to learn more about those artists through our recent coverage).
