Could 2024 be a mainstream breakout year for Larry Fleet? The Tennessee-born country troubadour has built a dedicated following over the years, and his September album Earned It has elevated his profile even higher. In the spring, the man who grew up on a stack of records spanning Merle Haggard, Otis Redding, Willie Nelson, and Marvin Gaye takes his own out on tour, playing Citizens House of Blues in Boston on April 4. He’s excited, we’re excited. “I love getting to play music and write songs, and I never thought I’d be able to do it as a way of supporting my family,” he says. “I couldn’t be happier to put out this new album. Hope there’s a few songs on there ya take a liking to.” Saddle up. Tickets go on sale Friday (December 15) at 10 a.m. local time.
