It’s been four years since Gary Gulman released his last special, but now the time has come for him to re-emerge into the special realm. And by the early looks of it, his latest hour is, per usual, a home run.
As announced earlier this week, the longtime comedy all-star and Peabody native will be releasing his seventh full-length comedy special, Born On 3rd Base, which is slated to premiere December 21 on Max. In his newest recorded hour, which he had worked out for the better part of the last two years, Gulman returns to the stage to take a deep dive into a myriad of topics, ranging from the eccentricities of his family, to his perspective on growing up poor which include, but are not limited to memories of the free lunch program and his thoughts on the questionable nature of dental care, to some well-crafted and articulated jabs at the absurdity of the billionaire lifestyle.
